Is there such a thing as the 'perfect' time to do something or do our actions and decisions create those rare perfect times when the stars align and things fall into place?
I'm a firm believe in the later. Sure there may be those rare instances when waiting seems to yield that sweet spot but mostly it's what we do, say & think that puts us in that position.
Things like perectionism, fear, avoidance, distraction, justification, embarrassment, criticism etc. are all reasons (consciously or unconsciously) that keep us waiting for that perfect time. But really we just need to dare to take a step forward or a leap of faith.
We don't need to have all the answers. We just need to be curious, willing to fail, willing to learn and willing to adapt, persist and keep moving forward. Believe in our ability to find the answers, to ask for help and to trust that others are there to prop us up, not tear us down. This is easier for some people than others, they have stronger change fitness.
The thing is that change fitness can be measured and can be improved. It is something we can learm, it's not a case of 'you are either born with it or not, and that's that'.
The perfect time to change is now, not some time in the future when the stars are aligned.
