What Mentally Strong People Do

What follows is based on Amy Morin’s “13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do” which she wrote in 2013. You may have seen it.


1. They move on

2. They keep control

3. They embrace change

4. They stay happy

5. They are kind but not worried about pleasing others

6. They are willing to take calculated risks

7. They invest their energy in the present

8. They accept full responsibility for their past behaviour

9. They celebrate the success of others

10. They are willing to fail

11. They enjoy their time alone

12. They have staying power

13. They evaluate their core beliefs

14. They are prepared to work and succeed on their own merits

15. They expend their mental energy wisely

16. They think productively

17. They tolerate discomfort

18. They refelect on their progress


No matter who looks through this list they are bound to find things they do well, things they could continue to improve and things they need to wrok hard on. It's not easy to stay mentally strong all the time.
